percieve me as being a cocky, concieted, self-centered individual when in reality, i just think it’s confidence. If you think.. no wait, if you know you’re good looking, you shouldn’t be living your life saying things like, “eww, i’m ugly or i’m not cute at all”, that’s just having a low self-esteem and it shows that you’re not truly proud of...

I always wonder why people please others more than they pay attention to themselves. I’ve realized it is because of their fear of rejection, feeling isolated, concerned about satisfying others’ demands, insecurity about self abilities & knowledge, fear of letting their friends and family down, fear of failure .. thinking too negatively.
But really,...
God doesn’t give you the people you want. he gives you the people you need, to help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you, & to make you into the person he wants you to be.
